Guardian Alternative Medicine

We use he Lymphstar Pro® technology for lymphatic therapy sessions. This instrument was found to assist and amplify the effects of manual lymph drainage, reducing the time and complexity of the therapy. Lymphatic therapy / drainage is used to stimulate lymphatic flow by removing lymphatic blockages, thus helping to build the immune system. Some conditions reported to have benefited from therapy include breast lumps, inflammation, chronic pain, joint aches, allergies, sinus, respiratory problems, headaches, prostate problems, hormone imbalance and chronic female conditions, cellulite, dental trauma, heavy metal toxicity, neuromusclar trauma, immune and fatigue.

The LymphStar Pro is a therapeutic, vibrational, massage instrument with a unique combination of energetic modalities. All of these emissions are extremely low in energy so they are gentle and safe. Subtle energies like these may be called "vibrational energy," as they are at a level more perceptible to the energy system, or bio-field, than more aggressive modalities used to treat the body. However, by their very nature, the lymphatic vessels tune into and respond beautifully to this kind of energy!

The treatment time is 45 to 55 minutes. We have a dedicated therapy room and our trained professionals will always respect your privacy while attending to your body's needs.

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage was originated by Dr. Emil Vodder in the early 1900's. After years of extensive research, Dr. Cory Carter developed his own simple, but effective, way to move the lymph. The Carter Technique for Lymphatic Drainage couples the sophisticated technology of the Lymphstar Pro with manual therapy to provide measurable results.

The Carter Technique Lymphatic Drainage is another modality we use in the office to help restore Body Balance. The Lymphatic System is directly related to your body's immune system and its ability to function. Lymphatic drainage is used to simulate lymphatic flow by removing blockages, thus helping to build the immune system.

Lymphatic Drainage is an advanced form of massage that aims to stimulate the lymphatic system to remove congestion and stagnation from within the body, and also help it return to a healthy condition.  Lymphatic Drainage therapy utilizes gentle massage strokes that remove blockages and promotes proper lymph flow. This is important because it is the primary function of the lymph system to defend the body against disease by cleansing, detoxifying and nourishing the body's tissues. Thus, when the lymph system is blocked, toxins and plasma may accumulate causing interference with cell nourishment and depressing the immune system.
